OCEPD: Many lakes still experiencing high water conditions; use caution

Although the rains that Central Florida received in the past weeks are subsiding, there are several lakes which continue to experience high water levels.

Orange County Environmental Protection cautions residents and users to be vigilant of displaced and disoriented wildlife, submerged structures, and mindful of causing near-shore wakes that can result in shoreline erosion and damage to shoreline structures.
