Herbicide Application on Lake Butler (Sandy Shores Canal), 6/2
The Environmental Protection Division will be performing an aquatic plant herbicide treatment on 6/2/22.
This treatment is part of an ongoing effort to manage hydrilla, pondweed and emergents in the Sandy Shores Canal.
WATER USE RESTRICTIONS:
• DO NOT USE FOR ANIMAL DRINKING SUPPLY FOR 1 DAY.
• DO NOT USE FOR IRRIGATION WATER SUPPLY FOR 5 DAYS.
These restrictions apply only to the Sandy Shores Canal and there are NO fishing or swimming restrictions.
