OCALERT: Sanitary overflow near Lake Buchanan

A sanitary overflow has occurred today, March 30, 2016, in the vicinity of Lake Buchanan located south of Texas Avenue, west of Rio Grande Ave.

The overflow has impacted Lake Buchanan and county staff are on site responding to the spill. Please refrain from recreation on or near Lake Buchanan as a precautionary measure. This includes fishing, swimming, boating, irrigating from the lake and allowing pets to drink from the lake.
