City of Orlando lifts lake alert for lakes impacted by Hurricane Milton

UPDATE: The City of Orlando has LIFTED the Lake Alert for Lake C, and it is now safe for swimming, boating, and fishing.

The City of Orlando has lifted the lake alert for all City of Orlando lakes impacted by Hurricane Milton, except Lake C. All other lakes have passed inspection and are now safe for swimming, boating, and fishing. Public boat ramps are also open for use.

  Lake C remains closed for recreation due to ongoing water quality concerns. We'll provide updates on its reopening on the city's Lake Alert website.
