Lake Prevatt HSPF model peer review – initial findings

The St. Johns River Water Management District will hold a public teleconference on Jan. 16 as part of the peer review process for the surface water model developed to support establishing protective minimum levels for Lake Prevatt in Orange County, FL.

At this meeting, the model peer reviewer will present initial findings as part of the District’s review of the Lake Prevatt HSPF surface water model. This model review is part of the larger effort to establish protective minimum levels for Lake Prevatt. The purpose of establishing minimum levels is to protect Lake Prevatt from significant harm due to groundwater withdrawals. Lake Prevatt is located within the Central Florida Water Initiative (CFWI) area.
