Orange County EPD releases 2021 “digital yearbook”

The Orange County Environmental Protection Division’s (EPD) first digital yearbook is now available online.

The yearbook is comprised of an introductory note from EPD’s manager, as well as posters of the Division's 12 diverse programs demonstrating its 2021 accomplishments and contributions to the environment and communities of Orange County.

These programs protect the environment and include sampling and analyzing air, soil and water; issuing a wide range of environmental permits; performing compliance inspections; reviewing development plans; protecting surface water resources; cleaning up contaminated soil, groundwater and surface water; managing over 23,000 acres of environmentally sensitive lands; developing environmental ordinances; promoting sustainability; and empowering local businesses and residents to make a positive impact on the environment through education and volunteerism.
