Herbicide Application on Lake McCoy, 10/6
The Environmental Protection Division will be performing an aquatic plant herbicide treatment on 10/6/21.
This treatment is part of an ongoing effort to manage Water Hyacinths and Cuban Bulrush in the lake and Salvinia in the northern lobe canals.
The following restrictions ONLY apply to the northern lobe canals.
• DO NOT USE FOR ANIMAL DRINKING SUPPLY FOR 1 DAY.
• DO NOT USE FOR IRRIGATION WATER SUPPLY FOR 5 DAYS.
• There are NO fishing or swimming restrictions.
