"A Litter Free Orange County" campaign begins

ORANGE COUNTY – Orange County’s Neighborhood Preservation and Revitalization Division will kickoff its “A Litter Free Orange County” campaign this month to educate citizens about the adverse effects of littering in the county. Littering affects the overall well-being of our communities and neighborhoods.

The campaign will kickoff at the Liberty Middle School Community Clean Up event on Saturday, April 6, 2013, 3405 S. Chickasaw Trail. District 4 Commissioner Jennifer Thompson will read a proclamation at the event declaring April as a litter free month in Orange County.
