Deadline Extended in "Art 4 Clean Air" Pollution Prevention Contest
New deadline is Wed., Dec. 14th, at 5:00 p.m.
The Environmental Protection Division (EPD) invites high school students to assist them to communicate the importance of preventing air pollution through art. The contest is open to all Orange County 9th -12th grade high school students. All art must be original and the student's own work. The winning entries will appear in a sixteen month 2013 Calendar to be distributed during P2 Week 2012 (next year).
Art entries will be collected beginning in early November (see submission dates, times, and location below). All entries must be received by EPD no later than Wednesday, December 14, 2011 by 5:00 PM.

There will be an art exhibit of all entries at the Climate Change Educational Center (CCEC) located at the Orange County Convention Center, South Concourse, Room 222S, 9899 International Drive, Orlando, FL 32819, at a date to be determined. Winning artwork will be identified. Students of nonwinning entries may collect their art at 7 pm at this location. All nonwinning entries not collected by 8pm, November 9, will be returned to students' school via interoffice delivery.
A formal recognition ceremony will be conducted in May 2012 during Clean Air Month and the winning entries will be exhibited in the atrium of the Orange County Administration Center, 201 S. Rosalind Avenue, Orlando.
