It’s that time again! Summer fertilizer rules go into effect June 1st

If you live in Orange County, be aware that special rules go into effect on June 1 to help prevent algae blooms and other pollution-related problems in our lakes, rivers and springs.

One of those rules is to refrain from applying fertilizer containing nitrogen and phosphorus during the rainy summer months.

There are lots of ways to have a healthy lawn year-round that do not harm the environment.
